Showdown in the Downtown - Knock Out Kidney Disease

‘Showdown In The Downtown’ is a formal affair that raises much needed funds in support of The Matthew Mailing Centre for Translational Transplant Studies, The Kidney Clinical Research Unit and The Kaitlin Vanderhoek Guardian Angel Fund in support of Childcan. Funds raised are directed towards research that will help fight kidney disease and improve patient outcomes after solid organ transplantation.

Comments From the Organizer:

If I could do every event at the London Convention Centre I would. Once again they were Super Heroes! How they got the tables in place and the room ready to go with all of our technical issues I don’t know. I did not think it would happen in time to open the doors at 5:30. They really jumped through hoops for me again and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all they do. Please pass on special thanks to both Janes, Nina and David DeClerk.

Even at the end of the night while taking down tables after midnight, one of your staff noticed me carrying two large boxes. I was heading to the loading dock and he insisted on taking them from me and took them right down and placed in my vehicle. I did not get his name but at the end of a VERY long day, that was greatly appreciated.

Once the doors opened, none of the guests knew anything had gone wrong and that is the key to a successful event. That would definitely not have been the case without your great staff so please make sure they all know!

Also – please tell Chef that the dinner was fabulous.
