The holiday season is fast approaching and it is a time to remember and celebrate all that has happened this year. At this time of year many companies take the opportunity to treat their staff to something special, whether it is a holiday bonus, a holiday gift, or a staff holiday party to say thank you for all of their hard work over the last 12 months.
A lot of larger companies rent out large spaces, hire event planners, a DJ, a catering company etc. Planning a company Christmas Party can be a costly endeavour that is not suited to every company’s budget. Space, decorations and a good DJ alone can cost a company well over $1000 before even considering the cost of food and beverages.
Here at the London Convention Centre, while we host a number of large company Christmas parties, we do something a little bit different for the small business community to offer them a comparable celebration.
On this Saturday, December 17th, 2011 we will welcome 21 businesses from across the city to the LCC for we call Christmas at the Centre.
What is Christmas at the Centre? Let me tell you! Christmas at the Centre is a holiday party with all the trimmings for small businesses, organizations and associations without the time commitment of planning and executing and without the same financial requirements.
Arranging an event like this for numerous small businesses is beneficial in three main ways. With an event like this we are able to streamline logistics, having 21 companies in one large space, instead of them searching the city for 21 separate venues that can accommodate them. We are also able to maximize resources which can help save everyone a bit of money. Instead of a group of 40 footing the entire bill for a meal, the entertainment and the space, a group of over 800 people are able to share the cost, minimizing the financial impact to each individual group. Lastly, a Christmas Party of this size promotes what we are all about at the London Convention Centre. We are inviting 21 different companies into our home to connect with each other, share a memorable evening and play for a night after a hard year of work. At this time of year the following saying is incredibly true, the more the merrier. Christmas spirit is contagious and with more than 800 guests in attendance the excitement and joy for the season will quickly spread throughout the room and magnify.
In 2011, for $45 per ticket companies, will be coming to the London Convention Centre for a Christmas celebration. The Grand Ballroom will be decked out in festive decor; our talented Culinary Team will prepare a succulent Christmas buffet feast and the evening will be filled with music & dancing, photography and fantastic door prizes. It is a great night that keeps a number of companies coming back year after year.
We are ecstatic to have the opportunity year in and year out to offer small businesses, organizations and associations an elegant Christmas celebration without having to endure all the extra costs that would be associated with hosting their own party of the same nature.
