LCC CULINARY CONTEST WINNER ANNOUNCED!

It’s official! The winner of the LCC Culinary Contest has been announced!

Shilo Pawley, a first year culinary student from Fanshawe College has won our first ever LCC Culinary Contest.

Culinary and Dietician students from across London & Middlesex were tasked with creating a vegetarian or vegan entrée that would be added to our 2012 menu. They were asked to provide a recipe and detailed instructions for making their entrée. They were also asked to include at least one picture of their dish to really showcase its appeal.

One of the goals of this contest was to connect the LCC and our amazing Culinary Team with young culinary or dietician students from the area. This is an excellent opportunity for our Executive Chef, David Van Eldik, CCC, to share some of his culinary expertise with a local culinary rising star.

Our Executive Chef, will welcome Shilo to the LCC where they will work together to perfect Shilo’s winning dish before its addition to the LCC Menu in 2012.

Thank you very much to all of our entrants, it was great to see the talent and imagination of students present in the local culinary community.
